About Me:
Kaela Larrieux (she/her), originally from Miami, Florida, started dancing at the age of 5. She began her training at Miami Dance Project, where she honed her skills in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. She continued her artistic journey at New World School of the Arts, a prestigious arts high school, where she performed notable works such as Cloven Kingdom by Paul Taylor, and staged by Laura Halzack.

She earned her BFA in Commercial Dance, with a minor in Psychology, from Pace University in New York City in May 2025. In addition to Kaela’s studies, she also has other passions outside of dance including running her own lash extension business, LashMeKae. Previously, she showcased her creativity as a makeup artist through her brand, GlamourbyKaela. Kaela dreams of performing on Broadway, dancing with a modern company, touring with an artist, and showcasing her talent at award shows and in music videos.

News:
In her senior year at Pace, Kaela had the incredible opportunity to join the Knicks City Dancers for the 2024–2025 season. With perseverance, dedication, and determination, she successfully balanced both her academic and professional pursuits. Now entering her second season with the team, she continues to grow as a performer and artist.

During her time as a KCD, she’s had the opportunity to work with amazing choreographers and artists such as Molly Long, Theresa Stone, and James Alonzo.

A standout moment was performing alongside Amy Schumer in a recreation of the iconic dance scene from Trainwreck. Performing at Madison Square Garden has been an unforgettable experience, and she eagerly anticipates the next chapters of her professional dance career.
